Paintings and Commissions by a Professional Artist based in Mid Devon
I was born in Sidmouth, Devon (United Kingdom) and studied at Falmouth College of Art and Nottingham Trent University. I graduated in 2004 with a BA Honours Degree in Fine Art and completed a PGCE in Further Education in 2010.
I studied A'Levels at Exeter College and then continued onto study for my Foundation degree in Fine Art at Preston Street in Exeter - part of Exeter College. I chose to study Fine Art Sculpture and had an amazing time, playing with cardboard!! My final piece was an expression of my own angst at the materialism of our culture and my need to escape it. I travelled to Australia after the course finished, after exhibiting part of my final installation project at The Goethe Institute in London.
